XT Vinyl Top Install:

The top is amazing and I had a hundred comments on it when I took it out on its first trip but I wanted to share a couple tips for those of you that might purchase one of these from XT

The G16 top has no supports on the front or rear, just down the sides. I went to Lowes and purchased two 1"X1"X36" aluminum square tubes, painted them, added Velcro, and a couple #8X1/2" flat head self tappers to give the Velcro added support.

The 36" tube is the perfect length and needs no modifications. Clamp it into place use the #8 flat head self tappers to secure it to the top, Gorilla tape the edges to protect the top from wear and your done. The top goes on perfect and stays there!!!
