Shifter Knob Removal on my G2
Hello everyone,
Having a hard time removing the gear shift knob on my Yamaha G2. Feel like I'm about to break it. Any suggestions? BTW I have the service manual and it doesn't say anything in there. Thanks |

Re: Shifter Knob Removal on my G2
Take the 12 mm nut off (might want to loosen up the f/r shift cable adjustment nuts), take off the "f/r cable cam. Then there will be a "c" clip that holds the shaft in place. Hope that helped.
