If your going to modify/customize the stock Yamaha G22 body parts (injected molded "Thermoplastic Olefin"), they do make special bonding agents to adhear peices togeather. For more specialized custom body panel's/parts, you may want to use metal (steel or aluminum) or fiberglass. Check out Rodgers, "built from the ground up" or Rons "Geep1" and so many others I cant list. Good luck ..... and we love pictures!

Ron is TheNewGuy. It depends on the look you are after, metal worked great for his jeep but fiberglass is often used for smoother shapes.

Choose the method that best suits your skills. For me it is sheet metal, a welder and lots of rivets.

You are going to have to do allot of trial and errors, but they have a great line of good fiberglass and sheetmetal you can work with. Try to find an old fender and start to grind, sand, fill and smooth out your plastic(bondo), until you reach your comfort level. Dont be afraid just do it. LOL

You used to be able to buy sheets of fiberglass, use those for flat areas and still had to make contours. Or you can make it like a boat with ply and glass over it, or of course make a mold for it which is what the factory made ones are out of.
