Default G22 Cuts and dies when it gets warm

2006 G22, runs good when cold, after about 1/2 mile it begins to cut out then dies. I can put it into neutral rev it then get it going again. I then go a few hundred feet then the same cutting out and dies, sometimes I get a backfire too. Eventually it won't run until cool.

I checked all gas lines, replaced the vacuum line, cleaned the carb, put in new plug and filter.

Any suggestions?

Smallblock, says to check the small 16 gage wire, on the ground lug, with a pin connecter, going into the main wire harness, just in front of the generator. This 16 gage wire is connected with the large battery cable, on the ground lug, on the passenger side of the generator. the pin connector comes loose from the main harness and raises all kinds of heck.
Read this slow, and hope this makes sense.

Solved the problem, it was starving for gas.
The vacuum hose was smashed under the airbox, re-routed it and runs perfect.

Mike, that is a fix for G2's thru G14's, G16's and G22's don't use that. But i'm glad someone can remember some easy fix's and pass them along. Why do you think I don't post as much amymore...because you guy's give some solid advice!

Cool,
Glad you got it going. I'd hate it if mine didn't run.

Small block,
You've helped so many people fix their cars, and we all thank you!
