My G9 never had a skid plate, would have been nice I get sticks stuck up in there sometimes. Once one got into the drive belt thought something blew up! I been thinking of blocking off the outside frame areas, assuming dirt off the front tires comes in there. Mine gets piles of dirt and dust in there its really bad.

Even with it on, the dirt and dust come in really bad! No sticks yet tho.
