Gear Change

I am sure this has been discussed before but I can't find it. I am wanting to change my gears out with the 8:1 gears. However I can't find anyone that wants to do it. Is this something that is fairly easy. I am pretty mechanical and have changed many transmission's but I have never messed with the actual gears. Any help would be great or even if anyone know somewhere near Indy that does this. I have already talked to a couple of local transmission shops but they act like it's rebuilding a complete rear end and want $800-$1000. I already have a new motor and a alltrax on order along with all the other goodies. And am hoping to do it all at the same time.
