Re: Battery Meter Wiring Help
I have an EZGO TXT 36v - replacing the battery meter with a Volt meter with only 2 wires - red and black. I have a switch with lights with 4 wires. What’s the best easy to connect the volt meter?

If you want it to come on and go off when the key is switched on and off… You connect the red wire to the switched side of the keyswitch and the black wire to the pack negative
If you want it to display constant, You hook the Red wire to pack positive and the black wire to pack negative I like mine to display constant so I can glance at it whenever I walk past… Those tiny LEDs don’t pull much power I connect mine at the solenoid and the controller so I can see what they see |
