It takes off the same as the torque has not changed. You can just hear the motor a little more when it is at max speed. As far as trail riding it handles the hills the same. I would still like to have more power so I am still considering upgrading electronics and motor. My stock RXV used on golf coarse has enough power to spin the tires and manages the hills with ease. I would like my lifted RXV to have more hill climbing ability when the family is on.

I just put 8:1 gears in a stock off the golf course rxv and it ran 38mph on my gps at freedom speed.

How is the handeling? Seems like all I can do to keep mine on the road at 29 mph.
