Starter Belt slipping again
My starter belt was slipping so I went ahead and had a place replace both belts. That was about a month ago and they gave me the old belts. Now the new belt is slipping too. The guy that did the work said he figured the clutch might be wearing out. I thought someone on here might know from experience. It runs fine it just squeals sometimes until it grabs.

Re: Starter Belt slipping again
It's normal for new belts to stretch some. Just readjust the starter - generator to tighten it up a little!

Re: Starter Belt slipping again
I replaced my belt and had the same thing going on, I had to pull so hard on that Starter/generator that i almost lifted the cart off the ground to get it tight enough to not slip! Just have a buddy around to tighten the nut while you lift!
