New Here! HELP! Electrical 07 ,Club Car
Hey everyone, I am new here and to golf carts...I just acquired what i believe is an 07 XRT800 Club car ( Vin starts with XH07...... It is in pretty rough shape.. Guy I got it from said it was running 2 years ago, but thats all i know. I hooked up a battery to it and turn the ignition but get nothing....There is no power to anything. If I put my ear down by the solenoid while turning the igntition and hear nothing. I am not sure where to start.. Some advice would be greatly appreciated. Once I get the starter going and power to the igntition I am confident I can get the motor running.
Its not letting me post the IMG code from photobucket because it says I have to be a member for 7 days. Thanks |

try jumping the solenoid to see if it will turn over? just jump the 2 large post......also look for any 10 amp fuses that might be right around where solenoid is................................

Re: New Here! HELP! Electrical 07 ,Club Car
no it should work when you jump it even if its bad so its not getting any power to it......does cart have the black box with solenoid and voltage regulator in it? if so then there should be 2 microswitches in there and 1 is to activate solenoid so you need to check that and if that checks out it would be keyswitch................keep looking for a fuse block also i,m just not sure where it might be located on that cart................................

that black box there in front of battery and under where solenoid is thats where everything goes even solenoid.......what happened there it looks like everything is gone,if thats the case thats where all your isues are coming from... did you buy cart that way? look on dash about center and lower part should be a tag with ser# year will be 1st two #,s i,m not sure if thats an 07 or not it looks more like a mid to late 90,s setup but i,m not 100% certain.......................................
