Default 8:1 high speed gears?

anyone know what i could expect from a set of these besides loss of power? my cart does 22-23mph right now with stock kf82 motor and 22's with stock rearend/gears

No disrespect Matt...
I really don't have much experience with KF82 8hp engines, except from what I've read here...
But, it's to my understanding that they're a good strong engine when they're run within their limits,
and, if you push those limits, (which your doing already) you can pretty much count on replacing the engine sooner then later!
And that would be "10 fold" when adding high speed gears!

Ive already considered that and have got that covered... I caved and bought 13hp clone earlier today. Was just wondering about the speed for after the swap.... I use it in the woods trail riding mostly so I figured the motor would be more important to do first to keep the power/ gain some.

Atta' boy Matt!

With the 8:1 gears, You'll lose some torque but, you should get 6+ mph from them,
and depending how nice you get the clone tuned, you could get upwards of 35-40 mph!
