Default Electric EZGO 2009 RXV HELP!

My RXV will not run and I do not know how to analyze the cart.

I was installing a stereo and next to the Key switch is another plug I stripped the wires from that to see if I could get enough juice there but two wires hit and a little POP then I just ran a new wire.

Now the cart will not Run

I have two carts alike and the one cart when we put our hand on the motor ( the one that still runs ) we feel the brake click to release off when turning the key on and also you hear the little chirp in the good cart

The bad cart no click in the motor and no chirp.

Help How can I diagnose this issue?
Thanks
Tim

Check the in-line fuses between keyswitch and solenoid's battery side terminal.

If that is it, compare voltages on good cart to voltages on bad cart.

When you turn cart on you should hear light click sounds. That is the controller running test to make sure cart is not damaged. Hope and pray it is a fuse. If not I would be concerned controller is fried and those are expensive to replace. I have about every option on my lifted cart including a bluetooth device hooked to an amplifier instead of a stereo. The best advice I can give is to buy an inverter to reduce power and leave the RXV system alone. I was so scared of messing with the wires I even installed an independent switch instead of going to key position. These carts are just to expensive when it comes to controllers and motors to be hooking after market components up to them. I know of 2 people who burnt controllers messing around with the key switch personally.

Thanks

I have similar problems and have seen the replies about online fuses but for the life of me I can't find ANY in line fuses on my RXV. Any help or pics appreciated. I've checked the voltage on controller plug. None have 5 v!

When you strip wires on a rxv, and hear a pop, that sound was the sound of $1000 "popping" out of your wallet. Likely Controller time. All fuses are under the red & yellow covers on the motor controller cover.
