Default Oil Leak - Dipstick tube???

Hi I'm new here and need some help. I have a 2004 Club Car I have had for 2 years with no issues. This last week I started to notice oil leaking. It looks like oil is coming out of the dip stick fill tube where it connects to the bottom of the engine pan, but I cannot tell if it might be just collecting there. So, should I just try replacing the O-Ring that must be where that tube comes together, or look some other place for common oil leaks. It started leaking a lot yesterday. I filled it and drove it about 15 minutes and the oil light came back on.

Welcome to BGW!

Yep! the first thing I'd do is replace the O ring, and make sure that the support bolt for the dipstick tube is good and tight!

Ok. Thanks. I'll try that. It looks pretty easy if that fixes it. My problem is my cart is on Kelleys Island, so I have to get the O ring and take it with me. If it's the wrong one, then it's another week to do it over again.

If you have a CC dealer somewhere close to you, here's the part number... #1016539 ~ Oil filler tube O ring
At least that way you'll have the right O ring when you go!
If you don't have a CC dealer close to you, it'll be a hit and miss looking for the proper size.
