Well if they pull you over for not being compliant with 2 lights, I'm sorry that you have cops in your area that have nothing better to do

It says at least two. An led lightbar has more than two. I think you'd have a case in court.

It would all come down to how each cop interpreted the law. As it usually does. It just made me think after the N.C. officer told me one center light bar (Club Car) does not comply with the law. This was on Oak Island.

I think you probably just caught a bad break with that cop.

One of the systems is likely to end up on my cart. I've been checking it out prior to this post .
http://store.tecscan.com/

The brake lights and turn signals might not have a significant enough visual impact to catch the attention of the non-attentive drivers I have to deal with, but adding some addition LED lighting at the four corners of the top, ought to take care of the problem. The same would probably be true for meeting the lighting requirements of laws in some states. Just tap into wiring, the controller will handle it as long as you stay within the max power rating of the controller.

Here is a cut&paste from the Tecscan site:

NOTE: The Wireless Controller can work with many types of devices and lights, including incandescent/halogen that do not exceed the maximum rated total throughput during operation.

Maximum rated total throughput: At 12-volts: 10 AMPS or 120 WATTS

If you stick with LED assemblies, you shouldn't have any power problems.

Welcome back JohnnieB!

Yes, you can mix and match all the lights you want with this kit. Works with halogen systems as well. Just stay within power limits. The wireless controller and the accelerometer makes this kit accel above all others.

If I was concerned about being pulled over, I would probably add the rear LED corner lights and some small LED front corner headlights you can get off amazon

I already have the EZGO 4 corner light kit so I'm thinking it would be nice to tap into the Tecscan controller to add brake light and turn signal function to those lights. I have been slacking and haven't followed through with separating the running lights from the headlights anyway.

Yes. You can do that. I believe he sells just the accelerometer kit with turn signal function and horn function for $99. He sells on ebay as well as his website tecscan dot com.
