Brute Force battery
I need to replace the six batteries. The batteries now are T-605 and I do not want to pay a premium for the Trojan name. A local dealer has Brute Force batteries 6V equivalent to P2200. I don't know what the P2200 spec is or who makes it. I asked who makes the Brute Force battery and was told Trojan.
Anyone know about these batteries. They are $93 ea. |

Re: Brute Force battery
If that is the Powertron P2200, it might be a Trojan black box battery, roughly equal to a T-105. (6V-225AH)

Re: Brute Force battery
I posted here not too long agao, and spent quite a bit of time researching this very topic, except my need is 8V
I could find out very little about these, but appearently they are powertrons. Could find very little by the way of reviews or experience. The ones my guy had were much lower aH rated, I ended up going elsewhere and found some trojans for not much more. |

Re: Brute Force battery
Im not familiar with Brute force, but can guarantee they are not Trojan. Trojan is by far the best battery for golf cart or any cycling application.
Well worth paying the extra dollars. Good luck. |
