Grease fittings on spindles
Hi all,
I have a 08 EZGO TXT with 6 inch lift kit not sure of brand of lift and there is no grease fittings to grease on the spindles, I have been doing some searching and would like to see if anyone has drilled and tapped new threads in their spindles for grease fittings. Or is this not needed Thanks |

Re: Grease fittings on spindles
I have seen it done, however, if you do, you need to drill completely through the bushing so you put the grease where it belongs. on top of that, if the bushings don't have grease groves in them, it won't do a lot of good. Not to mention, the material the bushings are made of are usually an oil impregnated material which needs any additional lubrication, thus, no grease zirc's on the spindles.
