Probably just need to jump the wire. Key switch would get power (12v ?) and send power out on the ACC wire and ON wire depending on the key position. The ON position may send power on both ACC and ON, would want to check with multimeter.

It also feeds the USB charging port so it’s 5v. I tried jumping the wires but again can only get ACC to switch.
EDIT: I found the problem, one of my test leads was bad and there’s a a specific sequence to jumping the wires. Black and Tan first (ACC) then add Black and Blue/White (ON) last else battery light flashing quickly and key switch fault.
@TheCartBoy tks for all your help the cart is working and max speed change to 30km/h 19m/h confirmed.

Just to let everyone know the tempos and extended range onwards use the vanguard battery and it's diag connector is under the seat molex connector. Club car has cables to go from the ccdt to the diag port for each setup

That is the can auxiliary connector, I believe. I'm in the same boat...no circular connector. I buzzed out the display connector to the auxiliary. 3 of the 4 match. Power is different, which makes sense.

I found the instrumentation harness connector. It is missing a wire on pin 5 (power for diag can connector). Everything else matches up. I guess they don't bother with the circular connector on fleet vehicles.
