I'm thinking that the mandatory 'plywood seat initial drive' will be this afternoon.

How's about a small update.

I'm close. I've had it up and down the street a couple of times with the obligatory plywood 'seat'. She runs. No idea how fast, I'll figure that out later. Had some small issues with my onboard charger, but a little help from ScottyB and that issue is history, she's charging nicely.

I discovered a few things since last Friday. 1. my attention to detail isn't what it needs to be, or what I thought it was. :) and 2. I'm NOT a painter. The quality of my paint job is what I would consider well below average. But the experience gained was immeasurable. What's wrong with this picture?

this is prime example of my lack of attention to detail. *sigh* Looks like i now have a new winter project, repainting. Luckily, unless you stand directly in front of it, it's really hard to notice. It'll have to do for now. So, note to ANYONE that's thinking of adding stripes: That little hole is NOT centered on the body, moron.

Got the wiring mostly buttoned up, still needs some loom and zip ties here and there, but everything works.

got the roof supports cleaned and painted. put the body on, installed the rear roof and seat support and seat back from XT Innovations, and again, I simple cannot say enough about Dave those guys at XT. These seats are insane.

Got my buddy working on the diamond plate running boards and accessory cover and custom rear bumper. I've got a golf tournament next Saturday morning, I think Cordelia will be unveiled at that event for her maiden voyage. Will have some more pics when she's through.

Yeah, I didn't either until I put the front cowl on to test fit, and I noticed the stripes were off-center. Talk about a HUGE let down.

thanks everyone.
