Default help on identifying this wire

Hey guys i just got my harness is for my Yamaha g2 and I can't figure out where this wires goes

I think there was a little jumper to hook that with a ring terminal on the solenoid.

That was my guess, but mine they were all clipped out and new connectors put in, I think they failed.

Yep. On the positive battery cable side post of the solenoid. It is the main 12 volts positive for the wire harness.

Thanks guys your right, if u look at my other thread on how my engine hesitates its still the same way even with the new harness :( ill be switching out the brushes tomorrow frim the SG if that's makes any difference ?? If not might try a new cdi box

Also when the engine is cranking over I keep hearing the solenoid click is that normal to keep clicking every few seconds

No. I think I would check the power to the solenoid and gen while you are starting it, see if it is fluctuating to or after it. My old and the new one only click at on/off that is it.
