Ink mark for balancer alignment on G2 crank gear invisibile
Hi, Is there another way to align the balancer to the crank gear if you can't see the ink mark refered to in the repair manual.

I was in the same predicament as you, I also went off the picture, but I did notice on the underside of the gear there was a little ring or circle about an 1/8" in diameter marking the tooth.. good luck on your rebuild..

Thanks for the picture. After i posted the question i found someone else's thread that said the dot should be pointing at the center of the crank. It would be awful to get it together one tooth off.
