help rebuilding a fuel pump on 95 club car
I bought the fuel pump rebuild kit but can't figure out how to get the little round diaphrams holders into the little holes that hold them in place. Any suggestions?
Thanks! |

Re: help rebuilding a fuel pump on 95 club car
Welcome to BGW, There's no beating around the bush on this one, They're a pain in the butt.
Use a 1/4" drill bit in hand and chamfer the edge of the hole just to knock the sharp edge off of it. Lube up the rubber plug and push it in with a 1/8" allen wrench. Then use an ice pick or dental pick and install the diaphram over the plug head. Some might say otherwise but I usually don't replace the rubber plugs, just the diaphram disc. Keep us posted. |
