I got my G-9 for $500 - it runs great looks pretty good. Rebuilt and engine installed with new belts a couple months before I got it.
Since your friend is getting a Yamaha you probably won't have to work on it much - in fact, that may be why he is getting a Yamaha! Look around this forum - you don' t find nearly as many postings about problems with Yamis as you do with CCs or EZgos!

Well I hadn't really noticed until after this came up, but now that you mention it, the last couple days it seems like the most "engine trouble" threads had G-this or G that in the title..

I have to say between my g1 and my soon to be project marathon i like the Yamaha better. Ill be using my left overs from my g1 on my marathon to make it better, or at least as good as it can be next to my BB G1 YAY

I'm sure you are factoring the number of yamaha carts in the world compaired to CC and EZ. The number of users on here that own Yamaha compaired to CC and EZ. The log in rate and times of EZ and CC users compaired to Yamaha user on this site to come up with your numbers right??

NOPE!! That would make too much sense and would likely fail to rile the EZgo and CC owners as much!

I guess I have learned something new this week..

There is a little competition about brands around here, huh ??

I have a question, did Yamaha ever use the Robin motor in their
carts ?? That is how much I know about them.
