The Onan or most any generator engines will have a tapered crankshaft for connecting the armature so check your clutch options before you get deep in it.
Spray cleaners don't do a lot for me. I always suggest a gallon can of the "gunk" brand carb cleaner from any parts store, comes with a little basket in it as well. Complete teardown and 2 hour soak, rinse with water and then blow out with air will remove any varnish build up. |
