Retro Fit A New Body
Hi, I'm about to purchase a 1982 ezgo marathon that is in pretty rough condition cosmetically, specifically the body. After a few glances at ebay, I can't say I can find 1982-era body kits available and I was wondering how hard it would be to just retrofit a newer style (a 1994+ for example) ezgo front and rear cowl with headlights and taillights and everything? Also, does anyone know where I can find a roof for this thing too?
Thanks |

Re: Retro Fit A New Body
from what I understand, the front cowl can be transplanted with rudimentary fabrication skills, however the rear requires some relatively extensive mods to the frame, etc and can get pretty involved as well as expensive - as to the roof, you'll have to decide on which body you'll be using first, as the struts, etc are entirely different from the Marathon (which you have) to later models
