Default She's breathing fire again, back to life!

The old KF82's breathing fire once more, I ordered a new spark plug coil (Igniter) a few days ago and it came today, didn't have much hope as I didn't quite believe that was the problem. However I was wrong thank heaven. Installed the new coil and she runs again. Saved me alot of trouble looking for a replacement engine and all the adjusting I'd have to do installing a clone. Thanks to all who helped out with the problem of no spark. If anyone needs a exciter coil, for 84-89 CC DS I've found a source who sells them new.

So what was the purpose of your other doom and gloom thread regarding replacement engine suggestions before you even replaced the igniter all about ?

I had to explore all my options, I wanted to get ready for the
Next best option that was open to me. As I said in my post
I didn't think this coil would solve the problem. When this engine
Quits in the future, I'll have a good idea of what to expect and do!
I'm new to this, so now maybe I can help someone else out
In the future!
