No I understood exactly what you were indicating. Bad rings are bad rings and your opinion is that no snake oil is going to fix them. My original inquire was to confirm what I had determined as the problem and inturn wondered if there were sources for rings and gaskets ILO a complete overhaul kit. OK?

I wasn't trying to be a smartarse it's just that I have seen some pretty expensive products making some incredible claims over the years. There are a lot of good chemicals out there to help with certain issues but worn rings and cylinders fit outside of that. I would suggest that you contact Tom (Shadowman) on this forum since he has an extensive knowledge of the KF82 engine and has some sources of parts for them which are becoming rather rare these days. Another Tom (at CPP, one of the site sponsors ) maybe another useful contact to have and here is a link to a company I have an account with that may also be useful.
