Please Help!!
Guys I am having a h@ll of a time getting the steering wheel off of my 02CC. I am trying to install a carbon fiber dash kit and the whole project is turning out to be a pain!! It seems that everything is messing up. I finally got my horn button installed in the floor, but everything to do with the dash is going wrong. I have my stereo installed in the dash, and my speakers have turned out to be a pain (but I think I can salvage the install), but I can't get the steering wheel off to get the dash on to fit it correctly.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Please help!! Thanks, Brian |

Re: Please Help!!
I finally got the dang thing off. Man, what a job!! I had to beat on that thing till I thought I was going to break it. The steering wheel has a few marks on it, but it will work temporarily. When I get a new wheel, will this one be this hard to take off next time???

Re: Please Help!!
Put some grease on the splines and don't tighten it up quite as much as it was.
