carburator part- external jet?!?!
KF-82 has a "jet" missing from the top of the carb, and it runs like crap anyone know what this does. It was missing and I had no top-end, I plugged it and now it hauls azz but it got a little rough down low on the bottom end. It's 1/2 inch to the passengers side of the idle adj. screw. First post on here and new member but I'm a big fan of the site. Lots of good info/guys on here. Thanks in advance!!!

That's a vent, I believe. You need the right one, even if you had to buy a used carb off ebay or something to get it.

Anyone out there have one of these vents out of an old trashed carb? It a kf82 carb from a 87 ds.

Hey fixitman I have two carburetors from KF82 motors but they both work great and I won't be removing anything from them, but if you want one I'll sell you one for $65 shipped.

Also update: the "vent" being referred to is actually listed by cc as the pilot jet. part #1
