voltage reducer
just upgraded my cart from 36v to 48v. went to buy a reducer to run my lights off of and the guy said he wires them to the 2nd battery and runs them and 16v. tried it and it seems to work ok. any negative to doing this ?

I have a 2014 yamaha YRDEcart that has running lights but no turn signals . What do I need to do to hookup universal turn signal

I have looked a how running lights are hooked up on my cart and they appear to use one of the 12 volt batteries to run the lights do not see a voltage reducer. Is this ok to do?

Short answer is no. Not drawing from the pack evenly across all of them throws the pack out of balance. Some get overcharged some get undercharged.
