I would pull the drain plug on your rear end with a catch pan underneath. After about fifteen minutes clean the magnet & reinstall the plug bolt. I would then refill using full synthetic 5w30 oil. This won’t solve the problem, but it sure would make me feel better once the replacement motor is installed. ��

i'll check it..noise started 3 days after new motor was installed.

Manual calls for 30wt oil in the transaxle IIRC. I prefer to use gear oil on gears, so I went with Lucas synthetic 80w-90 gear oil.

Drain it completely (after loosening the fill hole bolt first) then fill it until oil comes out the top.
