Here’s the set up with wheels on. I didn’t end up using the lo-pro mad Jax lift for the front. Wheels don’t rub at all so plan on leaving them as is. I need to stiffen up the rear suspension and minimize the overall body roll still.

Question for you experience guys. Is there a pro or con with going with 4-12v batts in lieu of 6-8v batts? I have read the run time would be the only negative impact? I only ask as I allready have a spare 12v deep cycle marine battery I pulled out of my boat before I sold it. It’s less than 3mo old..

As for my wheels, I bought a 1” spacer from golf cart Kings (madjaxx Lopro kit) to hopefully clear the front. The rear I found a set of heavy duty leafs, or contemplating just putting a block on the leaf if I need it.

I’m king to take the advice above and try and sell my batteries and exchange for cores. Put some 48v in and see it how it rides.
Where are you? I might buy them if you are anywhere nearby.

Run time and you would have to modify the battery tray. Also a deep cycle marine battery is not the same as a golf cart battery.

Took it for a spin and ran through the school zone speed limit sign. Was hitting 18/19 with the 48v upgrade. Also I sold my 6v batts so appreciate the advice earlier wakko47 !

Question I have, does anyone have a wiring schematic for changing the charging port to a newer model 48v?

Make sure you buy a charger that does not require an OBC.
