Default Getting Zero Volts Across Full Battery Pack

I just installed a new controller and after hooking everything back up I’m getting zero volts across the main positive and negative post in my battery pack. Each battery is around 8.60 volts so I clearly hooked something up wrong...

Go back and recheck all your cables. Start at the main B- and make sure you have +,-,+,- all the way to the main B+. Make sure cool your cables are good and secure.

Clearly.
I have followed along with your other threads and know you also installed a new Solenoid, onboard charger and voltage reducer. You've had your share of difficulty with these installs.
I think the experts need to see a photo of the battery compartment and the controller to try to see what might be the problem. I'm assuming you were finally able to get the solenoid wired correctly.
Hang in there. You are almost finished with this project.

You’re absolutely correct man. Once I get this thing running again I’m not touching a thing on that cart for a good while! Lol

I will definitely add some pictures here shortly.

It looks like your pre-charge resistor is shorting against the small negative activation wire (yellow) in your solenoid.

Your should relocate it to allow more clearance between posts.

It looks like you may have the fly-back diode backwards, it is hard to see it behind the pre-charge resistor but the diode side with a "stripe" should go on the same small post as the positive wire.

You need to post a picture showing all battery connections in order for us to verify they are properly connected in series.
