I have to agree with Gornoman. Unless those were very expensive jumpers the strands will be few and stiff and the insulating jacket is likely plastic. Not very good stuff. Battery cables for a cart are not a real good place to go cheap. Use 4ga welding cable, copper lugs and the proper crimping tool. A good crimping tool will crimp in a hex shape not a single pin dent.

Anyone use this product yet???
Wow, this post is only a day away from its second birthday!

Has anyone used the above mentioned pre-loaded solderable lugs, and if so, is the included heat-shrink large enough to accommodate 2 AWG welding cable?

Yes some have used them, are you good at soldering and sweating copper pipe?

Yep. Besides lots of plumbing, I used to sweat stainless pipe with silver solder. I only have a few feet of Stay-Brite silver solder left. I'm assuming with 1/8" solder, I'll need two to three inches per lug. I have 30 lugs to make up. I haven't checked prices on solder, but at $0.39 per lug, this might be cheaper than buying a roll of silver solder.

Then you know enough to be concerned with the content & type of solder and paste supplied in these 'economical' pre-filled lugs. Be sure to wear eye protection, it may be a water based flux.

My advice is go out and buy the best, the purest silver, be confident in your end results.

Will lead solder be a strong enough connection on 2 gauge wire?

How "Pure" is your silver solder? I've been silver soldering since the '70s.

Just wanna know what to buy. I meant to say I hadn't done silver soldering since the 70s.

Not sure of the relevance.

I ordered my cables and lugs yesterday, so I need to do some more research.

My point is silver has a melting point of 1761°, so I suspect most "silver" solder only has a very small amount of silver. The silver solder Home Depot carries is 1-5% according to its MSDS. Just wanna get the right stuff.
