Read this, it may give you some ideas. The longer brake cable on the driver's side is old news now. Times have changed..

This is happening to me right now and I'm mad as heck about it.

What a bunch of a-hole retarded jerks.. Now my golf cart is disabled until I get a new cable in.

It is a well known issue.. and out of the dozens of videos on youtube I have watched, NOT ONE SINGLE JERK mentioned it.

They are all sales videos.. people getting kickbacks to create nice videos to increase sales for these companies.

Time to make my own video and let people know to be wary of them.. wonder what else they're hiding now.

We have a party coming up this weekend and there's no way to get a replacement cable to fix this...
