THANK YOU for sticking out my questions and helping me out on this system that is new to me. I really appreciate the help. I'll order an OBC in and get it installed. I know BU has them, direct OEM replacements. Do you know of anyone else out there who may have them cheaper?

And from what I've seen on the rest of the site, way cheaper on a lot of stuff than BU. I meant to ask earlier, what causes the OBC to go bad? I've seen a lot of posts that talk about bad OBCs and it seems like a fairly common problem.

Well, I'm definitely converted now.

Electronics are finicky, I know heat is what causes a controllers to go a lot of the time, just wasn't sure about the OBCs. Thanks again for the help! My local cart shop is also a radiator and AC repair center plus they sell a lot of tires, so the help you get there on carts is kind of a joke. It's good to have a place like BGW to come where you know you can get answers.

I jumped the charger AND still had to run a ground directly from the charger receptacle to pack neg to get it to start charging. My obc was not grounding and thus preventing the charger from kicking in. I just bought scottyb's charger and did away with the obc entirely.
