thanks folks. I would like to know some more info on DS IQ 48v cart. The one I tested using was lifted and used 23" tires. He had a programmer that would unlock the speed. I got 23-27 mph on level road on my GPS. Will a regular DS (Serial A?) do the same? Or does having a serial (AQ) allow this kind of performance from stock motor & controller?

The IQ carts are programmable to 19.6. The series carts are not

IQ goes 19 mph with dealer reprogramming.
PDS goes 19mph with $5 chip installed

PDS goes 24mph with controller upgrader upgrade
IQ ....... help me out here

Thanks Sunoco. In layman's terms is it better to be "programmable" if you are looking for a mid to upper 20s mph cart?
