Lifted Precedent bent shock bolt
I have a 2011 lifted Precedent with the All Sport 6 inch lift. It also has a rear seat. As the kit was placed prior to my purchase, I do not know if upgraded springs were used, but it would appear the rear is all stock with the exception of the taller brackes and Ubolts.
Looking at the rear shocks, the bolts appear bent like someone hit them with a hammer. Is this the result of them bottoming out with riders on the back with stock springs? (My riders are usually kids if we are going over bumpy stuff, adults only get the smooth road) If so, what is the recommended fix? Coil over shock upgrade or spring upgrade and replace rear shocks with OEM parts? Where would upgraded suspension parts such as these be obtained? |
