well has anyone noticed a difference in performance, i was also looking at those and thought about purchasing, but not if its only for looks

I'm surprised to read that ICON is now using 6 gauge cable...my I40 has 4 gauge...
ICON cutting corners?

Yes, I opened the cover behind the battery compartment ( Removed the rear seat to make it easier to reach and work ), then removed the cover over the controller, once in the process is rather simple, chanced one wire at a time. The feeds to the batteries and the power feed cables to the drive motor were all changed.
