These engines don’t idle so there’s only one main jet.

Turn the air mix screw all the way in until it seats lightly. Then back it out about 1.5 turns and adjust from there. 1.5-2 turns out is usually pretty good. I don’t know where at in Chile but if you’re in the mountains high altitude it may need more or less adjustment… I’ve never been more than a few hundred feet or so above sea level so I’m not sure there.

The elevation where I am is about 1.300 FASL. According to the Service Manual the original main jet works for up to an altitude of 3.000 ft

Regarding the mix screw I will follow your recommendation and let you know the results.

I am curious about the idle screw. The Service Manual recommends "Slowly tighten the idle screw until it lightly touches the throttle lever, then tighten it an additional 3/4 turn", while I red on some forum that you screw it in until it touches the throttle lever and then unscrew it one turn. What is your recommendation about this?

The idle stop screw’s only purpose is to keep it from slamming closed when you release the pedal, reducing wear on the carb and throttle plate. You can honestly take that screw of, throw it in the trash and the engine will run perfectly fine.
