Bearing replacement
I need some help on replacing the electric motor bearings on my 94 Marathon. After being partially submerged from hurricane Ike, the motor runs, but the bearings are growling. I would like to replace them but can't find any threads here describing the process. I can get the motor off but am hesitant to break the motor apart before I know how to reassemble the motor. My main concern is how to get the brushes back in. The motor is a D&D so I am assuming that the bearings are the same as the stock G.E. it came with. I also would like to know if I will need a press to remove/install the bearings. Any advice is much appreciated.
