Re: Torque upgrade
Oh and btw.....IF for some reason, down the road (4 or 5 years) you decide to up the power/torque/speed to 48v (say its time to get new batteries anyway) you can get 6-8v's that fit in the stock tray....you don't have to change ANYTHING electronically, just get a 48v charger and you are on your way.
just something to keep in mind. |

Re: Torque upgrade
Will definitely do that, thx. Has adding a good deep cycle 12v in the open area been done to make the pack 48 with only 1 battery added? Would they still discharge fairly evenly and work? Just a thought as these battery's are new

Re: Torque upgrade
no. that won't work....for everything to work CORRECTLY the batteries need to be GOLF CART batteries of the same size/type.

Re: Torque upgrade
Ended up ordering a bearing kit for the Dana rear end, axle bearings also worn badly. They came out easy with the axles but still have not got pinion bearing out. Any advise?

Re: Torque upgrade
On the stubborn ones, I grab the splines with pliers (carefully to not damage splines), then use a prybar on the pliers to pull.
