1985 EZGO 2 stroke
Anyone have an OE replacement carburetor besides the 20 dollar copies? Is there a better one to swap to that is genuine Mikuni. I’m having no luck with the knockoffs, they all keep pushing fuel out of the vent line, adjusted the float bowl height several times no change. Thanks in advance.

Re: 1985 EZGO 2 stroke
I never did find a real Mikuni for my 85, So I've been forced to use the cheapies for many years.
I've had three but I really can't complain, The first one lasted about 10 years. The second one leaked immediately (had a crack in the casting but got a free replacement), And now have about 9 years on the third and still running strong. |

Re: 1985 EZGO 2 stroke
2 strokes are usually a bit more forgiving to aftermarket carbs. Most aftermarket carbs tend to run on the rich to very rich side. 2strokes prefer to run rich, running lean is what kills them fastest
