Re: 98 CC not getting full speed
I was just wondering if it was a torque motor because they wont run as fast but they will pull like a mule.

Re: 98 CC not getting full speed
Sorry, I missed your tire size, 20# may be a little extreme and it will ride rough but the speed will be max. I run 20# but I'm only only pavement and grass and have 18" lowpro tires. The point I was trying to make was, in the winter tire pressures sag and batteries are less efficient so you will lose a little speed.

Re: 98 CC not getting full speed
It is a DS cart. I will try bumping up the PSI. But it still seems something is off.

Re: 98 CC not getting full speed
I agree with golfcarfixer and scottyb the #1 problem is the motor "."
However that being said you need to finish the upgrade to #4 cables. Getting the voltage and current from the Batteries to the controller is good , BUT it need to get from there to the Solenoid, F/R and motor , this will give you a tad more torque and speed. Then upgrade the motor to a rewind from D&D , Plum Quick or http://www.empinc.biz/ all have a very goo reputation, and all guarantee their work. Call tell them your setup ...etc and see what they will guarantee ! |

Re: 98 CC not getting full speed
I currently have a rewind from a company, not sure which one. I have a call into my dealer to call them now.
So I will need to upgrade some more cables. the ones from the batteries to solenoid and then to the motor? So probably 4 more cables? |
