Default Testing a PowerDrive Charger

I just obtained a PowerDrive #17930 charger, working condition unknown. The only cart I have to test it on is a 2016 Precedent(no OBC), for which I have the ERIC charger. To be clear, I don't want to use the PowerDrive charger on the Precedent, I just want to see if it charges. Can I bypass at the relay to see if it will work.

If you bypass the relay and plug it into the cart it should start charging the pack. Plug it into the cart, and then plug in the AC cord after.
There isn't much to go wrong in those, so unless there's obvious damage or the thing is totally smashed I would be pretty confident it works.
And even if it doesn't, a diode and relay kit is all those ever need.
