97 DS FE350 Accelerator limit switch
Based on this diagram, I've read to disable the ground on the Accel limit switch? Is that correct? My situation isn't about going faster but that it appears to malfunction at times but I do have some questions. When the engine revs past it's limit, does the ignition shut down temporarily and then return when the limiter is working correctly? This is a symptom I get sometimes when it isn't AT it's limit but at about 2000 RPMs. It doesn't happen all the time and sometimes it backfires. And the drive clutch sticks, if the plastic is worn from the bushings and scores the plate is that repairable or does it need a complete replacement? Thank you in advance.... |
