They were rusted but with the torch and some PB I freed it up. Now my question is how to remove the pinion gears. I'm interested in getting the limited slip kit but the directions aren't consistent with what I'm seeing. It shows the spider gears being removed with tapping the pin from the outside. The Kawaski differential I have doesn't have that option. Looks like I'd need to somehow "squeeze" the spider gears together to remove in order to get the kits in. Has anyone else seen this? I will try and post pictures.

The ones I have worked with, mostly on trucks, the axle was splined into the gear and there was a "C" clip that held it in place if memory serves correctly but I've seen them where it is pinned as well.
