Well I worked on replacing the battery tray in this thing today. It was a bit of a nightmare! Who had the genius idea of putting the two torx bolts under the body? Two heads snapped off, spent several hours cutting, drilling, grinding to get them out. Finally got all the old hardware removed as well as the old tray. Went to the hardware store and picked up all new SS hardware. Tomorrow the new battery tray and batteries go in.

This is good advice right there. 48v gives you everything you need for cruising the hood or campsite.

If this were my cart it would probably go 48v. But they can't justify buying a charger, controller, cables, etc. for as often as they use the cart. I'm hoping the new batts will bring a slight power increase...

OBVIOUSLY it was an Engineer! They are ALWAYS wanting to screw with either service people or those that work on their own stuff. TASK ACCOMPLISHED!!

Got the new batts in today, and I must say, this thing has a lot more pep! For now she will stay stock. I also installed the lights I got from Don, which I think turned out great.
Next up will be a Steeleng rear seat more than likely...
