I don't have a handy pic, but the muffler does enter near the top with a 1 1/2 inch pipe [approx], and exits the bottom with a smaller curved pipe.

Not near the top. The 88 exhaust enters through the actual top end of the muffler. All others enter through the side.

Here's the muffler. Corse, that're no guarantee it's the one that goes with that motor--- everything else on this has been a bag of parts...... The automotive style coil that was in there was bad-- the top falling off was a good indicator. Anyone know if that needs a coil with a built in resistor?
