1988 ezgo 2 stroke clutch problem
hello i have a 88 ezgo 2 stroke that has no power at all and i believe it is in the clutching. but i cant seem to find anyplace online that sells rebuild kits. they all just want to sell me a new clutch. which is pretty expensive. not sure what to do here. the thing wont even climb a small hill. the motor has 135 pounds of compression so thats not the problem.

I have not. What should I be looking for? Just make sure they are opening and closing properly?

Re: 1988 ezgo 2 stroke clutch problem
Yea that will tell you a lot, if you feel pretty confident it's a clutch problem. Drive closes and the driven opens, and it should be at the same time smoothly.
