Club car DS FE290 hesitation, carby issue?
I'm having issues with a hesitation in the cart. I've pulled down the carb and cleaned it thoroughly as well as the fuel pump.
I have a feeling it is not the correct carby for the cart as the local cart mechanic says one of the adjuster screws should need some alloy cut away to get it out for cleaning. I'm toying with the idea of replacing the carby with an ebay item. I'm wondering people's experiences with these? Should I not waste my time or are they ok? |

i got 2 carbs from pro. On ebay. Both worked fine. About $30

just search ebay, I have used at least 20 of the $24 carbs this year and only had 1 that was bad (butterfly was sticking) and the seller gave me a refund for that one. Sure is nice not having to spend $100 each now!

I bought one of the inexpensive ones off eBay for my 1993 club car and it is working fine.

Hey all, I just installed the ebay carb I purchased and problem solved! 20kmh or 12.4mph up hill. Does this sound correct?
